Detecting Browsers with PHP

Been looking for a way to detect a browser in PHP. Blogger has added a feature to automatically deliver a mobile web version of my blog. However, this doesn't seem to work well with my frameset setup on blueskyworkshop.com. Plus blogger doesn't include any of my navigation features or ads on the mobile version. So I want to roll my own.
