Implement Fade-In transition effect







- Download and copy the graphs to /res/drawable.









Create /res/anim/fadein.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<transition
xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android">
<item android:drawable="@drawable/android" />
<item android:drawable="@drawable/developer" />
</transition>


Modify main.xml

<TextView
android:layout_width="fill_parent"

android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:text="Start Transition" />
<ImageView
android:id="@+id/mytransition"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"

android:src="@anim/fadein" />
</LinearLayout>
